Since graduating from University of California, Berkeley and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Douglas Gorney has worked primarily in watercolor and photography. A San Francisco native, Douglas is inspired by the city's microenvironments. His urban sketches center on the forms, colors, perspectives and atmospheres of the Outer Sunset, where he lives.
